Logged in yesterday and saw my subscription ran out. Poop. Ah well...that's life for you. Dunno if I'll renew. Was going to post new sketchies up but not in town right now.

Chicago update:

wanted to stay at the Hard Rock so that's where we're staying on the 16th and 17th of June. Very spendy is all I can say (even after taking into account the $300 gift cards eBay will give us it's still gonna cost us about $220 a person for a 2 night stay). So we're spending 2 extra days beforehand and then working til Sat night then leaving Sunday afternoon. Gonna try and meet up with my aunt and a few friends there. Want to do some sight seeing but not sure which things to see with such limited time.

Arting:

finished the templates for the AE badges, now just have to finish all the art and do the layouts and finalizations after that. Deadline for the art I've given is June so I have time to do adjustments and the final work. All the badges hopefully done by mid June.

I have a few sketches from some exchanges but honestly I haven't been drawing much. Need to get back on that instead of sewing or painting doll heads.

Dolls:

I've been sewing a little, painting blank heads as well. Not many mind but some. I sold a couple of lovelies though because I wasn't playing with them and dang, I needed the cash to pay for more important things like...my car insurance ($1600+) and whatnot. Just finishing up one group order. Sold one of the heads I was supposed to get but didn't really want which is good, so my part of the order was minimal. A surprise gift head was included which I like so asking the people if I can keep it, otherwise to keep drama low going to give it away for free (i.e. as if we never had it) but hopefully people will let me keep it.

Still trying to sell off a boat load of SD sized heads (Ricky Elucid, Nanuri 07, Jury B likely, Yder and the tender Lahoo event head that I will not have time to touch) and the Warrick...so need to sell him. He takes up space and was never intended to be mine. Bad juju with him and I just want the money back I lent out for him. Speaking of that I will -never- be doing that again. I did it twice and both times the people who borrowed the money took off and didn't want their dolls back. I lose money and have dolls I never wanted so yeah, don't even bother trying unless the amount is low and the doll I wouldn't mind keeping.

Last doll meet was good. People liked the awards show style meet since it gave them something to do and there was lots of stuff to buy and prizes and trophies were given out. If you were there and wanted a copy of the newsletter we have loads left just let me know when and where you want to pick it up. For those who weren't and want a copy just drop me a line. Postage and a few dollars will get you a copy

My to do list:

1) send body form drawing to person I promised it to
2) mail out last of the group order stuff from Fairyland
3) order the next group order from Fairyland and post info
4) clean house when I get home from the USA
5) pay for car insurance once PayPal money is released
6) get shipping boxes for big doll and package him up
7) go on run
8) work on AE badge art
9) work on next Reves De Mignonnette newsletter articles
10) work on fixing up blank dolly heads
11) organize b-day thing
